I have finally joined after lurking here for a while. I have thought about these cars for years, remembering ads for Lotus kits on the pages of Sports Car Graphic in the sixties.

Apparently there is not one Caterham in Arkansas and I would certainly like to at least sit in one before buying one...there is a 1996 in Dallas that looks good, will be there on business next month to check it out...it has been an autocrosser for most of its life. I would be looking for a mid to lates 90's car and would rather be able to find one in the south or southeast. Any ideas please let me know.

Check the USA7s list as well.

http://usa7s.com/vb/

Their more East Coast Focused.

Also check LOONY, Lotus Owners of New York.

Caterham USA and their dealers.

Welcome to the group.

Welcome! :)
First thing to do is find out how difficult registration might be in Arkansas. This thread here (http://www.californiacaterhamclub.com/chat/showthread.php?t=1665&highlight=register) should help. After that, just a matter of finding the right car. Seems like quite a few advertised for sale in the last year or so.

If you don't mind driving 350 miles, the Southwest Sevens Festival is coming up next week. You will see a bunch of Sevens of different provenance there.

I don't know if there will be any Caterhams present but the LocostUSA folks are having a get together in Harrison, AR. in about a month. Here is a link to the event. http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=9454

Sound great...but I have to drive 250 miles east that weekend to work on daughter's kitchen.

I am not in a hurry to find a Caterham...the right one will show up.

Thanks for the help.
