Default Holiday Drive sometime NEXT week

Any of the LA area members around and interested? Or even from further away?

When and were TBD, open to suggestions.

    Hey Doug,
My work schedule over this holiday is a bit haywire but if I can drop in and join a drive last minute I will.

Watch this space or perhaps you can suggest a time that's good for you.

    I will!
Frustratingly I don't know what days I'm working until the day of, I'm on a sort of 'on call' type thing.

New Years day could work too. If not raining.

I'll be around and pretty flexible. Hoping to go karting on Thursday but weather doesn't look promising.

New years day is traditionally a big car day and usually there is a big turnout up at the lookout point

The funny thing is my wife goes " What is that car a Morgan ? " and I said "No that's a Caterham but there is a Morgan driving it " -delise

Are you back form Germany yet?

I'm interested but cannot do Saturday the 29th.

Paul is the one with the uncertain schedule so I was hoping he could see some free time and let us know.

If he doesn't pick soon, others should feel free to suggest a time and route.

No I am still stuck here in Germany and enjoying every drop of the continuous rain as well as the occasional downpour (not to mention the exciting change of drizzle and sleet).

Tuesday the 1st is my only opportunity. I need to check a few things with the car first.

The usual Mulholland routine is O.k. But I would not mind something else, too.

I want to participate. Having recently changed to a 'stage 1' clutch I find I'm not sure everything is right and would invite others to spend some time behind the wheel of my car so as to get some feedback.

    OK, New Years day.

Either Newcombs Ranch then Big Tujunga and where ever from there.

Mulholland area if you don't want to go that far is fine with me too.

    Cool.
    What time?
maybe we can make Newcombs or Mulholland choice dependent on the weather.

Have fun you guys, weather permitting. I just saw this article, forecasting rain and snow in the area for the weekend: Showers and Mountain Snow for L.A., San Diego. But the real reason I linked the article is because it is written by a guy named Sosnowski (how perfect is that?), and the page tags him as "Expert Senior Meteorologist".
